Transcode Windows Media Dialog

This dialog allows you to alter the current encoding or form of a Windows Media Audio file.

Source File
The WMA file to transcode. Click the
Browse button to select this file using a standard File Open dialog.

Codec
The codec (short for compressor/decompressor) used to compress the source file.

Format
The
bit rate in kilobits per second (kbps), the sample rate and the number of channels of the source file.

Destination File
The file name of the destination file. Click the
Browse button to select this file using a standard Save As dialog.

New Codec
The codec (short for compressor/decompressor) used to encode the destination file.

New Format
The
bit rate in kilobits per second (kbps), the sample rate and the number of channels of the destination file.

Change
Displays the Windows Media Audio Settings dialog, which allows you to change the format of the destination file.

Transcode
Begins to transcode the selected file.
